There’s something incredibly special about seeing a family grow — and baby boy Maddox Beau’s newborn session was such a beautiful reminder of just how quickly time moves. We had the absolute honor of welcoming this sweet baby boy and his loving family into our Portsmouth, Ohio photo studio for a timeless newborn and family session we’ll never forget.
From the moment they walked in, the Marsh family radiated love. We’ve been so lucky to photograph them before — and even did big sister’s newborn session! Watching her come back in, now as a proud big sister completely smitten with her new baby brother, melted our hearts. She was gentle, curious, and so full of love for Maddox. Moments like those remind us why we do what we do.
Maddox himself was amazing to work with. He slept peacefully through his entire session, perfectly content and cozy. He absolutely loved being wrapped — every time we swaddled him, he just melted right into it. Those sleepy little smirks and relaxed poses gave us the most beautiful images, and we were swooning over every single setup.
His mommy and daddy were equally incredible. So patient, so kind, and completely in love with their newest addition. You could feel the connection between them all — and capturing that sweet family bond was a true privilege. It’s always our goal to freeze those fleeting moments of newness and connection, and this session gave us so many heartfelt memories to preserve.
Maddox’s session was everything we could hope for as newborn photographers — relaxed, full of love, and filled with beautiful details.
