Sweet baby girl Oakley Lynn came into our Southern Ohio photography studio for her newborn session, and she absolutely stole our hearts. She was so tiny, so precious, and did amazing throughout her entire session. Every little detail about her reminded us why newborn photography is one of the most special experiences we can offer families.
One of my favorite parts of Oakley’s session was the gorgeous color palette her mommy chose. The soft tones paired beautifully with Oakley’s delicate features, and the gallery came together in the dreamiest way. I also loved being able to add a touch of western-inspired styling into the session — a unique detail that made these photos even more special. These little custom touches are what truly make each newborn gallery one-of-a-kind, and I always enjoy incorporating pieces that reflect a family’s personality and style.
This session also held a special memory for me personally. Years ago, when I was just starting out in photography, I had the honor of taking Oakley’s daddy’s photos when he was a little boy. To now welcome his baby girl into my Portsmouth, Ohio studio feels like life coming full circle. Watching families grow and being trusted to document those generational memories is such a privilege and something I’ll never take for granted.
